The Stonecutter" by Ruth Cantrell is based on a Japanese folk tale about a mason who perpetually wants to be someone (or something) greater, more powerful, or more important. As a Guardian Spirit guides the title character through several transformations we see the growing realization that, perhaps, there is something to be celebrated in all of us.

Performances are open to the general public as well as members of the Agnes Scott College community.  All seats are only $5.00 each. (Agnes Scott students receive free admission.) Groups from area schools and daycare centers are particularly welcome to attend. School groups of 10 or more will be eligible for a group rate by calling 404-471-6250.
